The Royals hosted the Rockies today at Lambrick park in a matchup for fourth place. The Royals opened the game early in the first with a 1-0 lead, and remained on top due to Kaleb's stellar 6IP, 7K, 0BB, 0ER slash line.
In the fifth inning, ex-Rockies brothers Sam Glowicki and Will Glowicki broke open the scoring with a grand slam from Sam and a two RBI single from Will to take an 8-0 lead into the 6th.
In the 6th inning the Royals were able to finish the job with a gap shot from Tyler Boldt to score the 10th run of the game, beating the Rockies on the mercy rule and completing the no hitter.
If not for an error in the 4th inning from the Royal's shortstop, this would have been the first perfect game in SIBL history.
Congratulations Kaleb on your no hitter!
